Thermal treatments
FEMIA is a pioneer in this industry, designing and manufacturing a comprehensive range of continuous heat treatment devices for fruits, vegetables, and sweet corn, among other things. The blanchers and coolers offer 1 to 3 treatment options depending on the model and are sized to meet the needed capacity.
The combination of blanching and chilling modes in the same piece of equipment allows for the application of the optimal thermal treatment for each product: speed and uniformity of the thermal treatment, yield and product integrity, and preservation of organoleptic attributes. Cleanliness and optimization of energy and water use are constants in the development of the FEMIA product.
