Lindor is engaged in the development, manufacturing, and sales of mixers for dry products. Our Engineering department develops mixers according to customer specifications by using modern CAD systems and calculation methods. To meet the requirements of our customers worldwide we can rely on a modern factory and a spacious test centre where mixing tests are performed. Besides the test centre at our premises, Lindor has testing facilities in the UK, Japan, Malaysia, and India.
Industrial Mixers
Key Characteristics
Excellent homogeneity
Protecting particle integrity
Short mixing times (2 - 5 min)
Quick and easy to clean
Low energy
No breakage – No heat
Self-emptying (> 99,8%)
Variable batch size (10% - 100%)
Horizontal construction
Lindor's gentle touch' mixing technology
Excellent homogeneity - all the product is collectively in flow all the time
Protecting particle integrity - gravity enabling minimal, equal forces
Short mixing times - due to lack of friction, no temperature rises or even topical hot spots
Quick and easy to clean - to provide good hygienic security
Low energy - low in energy consumption
Open access to particles in motion for other applications - please see below
Besides mixing and blending, this technology offers a very effective way to process powders and granulate in other ways than just mixing (Industrial mixing machine options and special blending features). Examples:
Liquid dosing: moisturizing, coating, impregnation
Heat transfer: cooling, heating, drying
Freezing
Disinfection
Our solutions enable many different processes, even combined in the same industrial mixer, where the actual process, be it mixing, liquid dosing, or heat exchange, can be applied without side effects.
Industrial mixing products
Typical products that have maximum benefit from our solutions:
Spray-dried products - Built-up agglomerates (Such as Milk Powder, APIs)
Products that are brittle and/or prone to generating dust (Breakfast Cereals, Nuts, Snacks, Zeolite, Bentonite, Cat litter, Engineering plastics)
Products that are sensitive to heat, compression, and/or impact (Gelatin, Food restaurants, Ceramics)
Abrasive products (Quartz, Glass, Silica, Sand, Carborundum (SiC)
Products are sensitive to contamination by traces of other materials, like worn-off machine materials (Metal, Seal materials, Grease), or from the outside like Dust, Oxygen, etc. Product examples are battery Powders, Catalysts, and Infant formula powders.
Some products which Lindor helps in manufacturing:
